Working as a water colourist, illustrator, sketch artist and using a variety of mixed media, Lorette's output is eclectic and covers a variety of subjects, inspired in particular by boats, ropes, foliage, Asian scenes/culture and includes a light-hearted selection of ink sketches.

Travelling and living abroad for many years, Lorette developed her skills of sketching and researching local customs and curiosities.

Such was the amount of her travelling, sketching and painting that quite naturally Lorette was inspired and indeed encouraged to exhibit her work wherever she went.
